Zombie, You should ask yourself why wasn't it taken to your state. Why Lagos, it is because Lagos has potentials was the reason they brought to Lagos. Zombiedent, Ode.

I don't understand. I think you are replying me based on your support for BAT and you think I am trying to say something against lagos development? Come on!!! No na . I care less about who you support . All I care is for Nigeria to work.

If I may ask, have you ever tried to set up a "Tax" paying company in Lagos? Have you tried to set up an industry in Lagos? Yes, you as a citizen of Nigeria, a lagosian . If you haven't, try to set up one then come back and tell me how easy it is.

Let's not allow sentiments and political parties to cloud our reasoning.
Lol

I'm not from Lagos State neither am I a Yoruba man. There are people here on Nairaland who just love complaining no matter what.

I was just asking you an innocent question

I no dey think Nairaland matter serious like that.

We all want the best for our country.

Good initiative if JB has carried out in-depth feasibility studies. I only feel the company can still play and the lead the market in commercial sector of real estate by building affordable homes, malls, parks etc rather than being a focused differentiator in the roads and bridges building.
It can look into states that have lands closer to Lagos states and start building affordable and quality houses in form of estates. It can also look into state capitals across our 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT.

It has more comparative and competitive advantages in real estate sector than in Afro-allied.

Forming subsidiaries to be in charge of all these new ventures won’t be a bad decision, in my opinion.

It may need to throw away all in the old legs in the company, to succeed and inject fresh experienced bloods. Lots of its old staff are corrupt and unproductive.

Now that the FG is borrowing money to service debts, where will JB get construction contracts like before?

FYI, eighty percent of cashew processing facilities are in Ogun State base on logistics reason so Julius Berger is on course because the final products would be shipped out.

For Cashew Plantation establishment with GAP steps as well as improved grafted seedlings and polyclonal seedlings; get in touch 0.8.0.9.6.5.8.0.1.8.3.

Have you tried to set up an industry In Nigeria?

If you have, you will know the amount of hands you need to oil with money to get your desired results. How many have such money for that? Also, if you don't agree to offer someone something you won't get there. They will rather allow the one who can be greasing their hands .

No one is against development. Not at all. I am just saying we should also look withing . Let local investors too have major stakes . You understand what I am trying to say right ?

I do not understand what you are saying because you have not said anything
i asked a simple question did government tie the hands of local investors to not invest?

you said we should local investors have a stake.. my question is what is holding down local investors from having a stake?

Dangote ,Rabiu, Innoson, Okuosa etc.. did government tie their hands not to invest of have stakes

instead of you to encourage Nigerians to invest you are directly aimless excuses to the government
Nigerians that once they have seen small change they will rather go and spend it in another man's country than to grow it here

What exactly have you invested in? You yourself, what company have you set up? For someone who have a series of companies, I am telling you how uneasy it is for Nigerians and are here saying something else. I am not against whatever choice of party you are supportimg please

why dive into political party?.. was that what I asked.. is that what the topic is about.

if it is uneasy for Nigerians to invest in their own countries, what makes it easy for foreigners to do the same

...because the foreigners come with lots of money and bribes here and there , Tax will be evaded etc.

If I haven't tried to set up a company here in Nigeria please let's not continue to have this convo.
