Manchester United have signed Brazilian winger Antony from Ajax for an initial fee of €95m (£82m).

The 22-year-old has signed his contract until 2027, plus he has a one-year option.

Antony has made 82 appearances for Ajax, scoring 24 goals and providing 22 assists. He joined the Dutch champions from São Paulo in 2020, playing under Ten Hug.

Since making his debut in October 2021, he has scored 7 goals in his 11 appearances in the Champions League at Ajax and 2 goals in his 9 appearances at Brazil.

Manchester United's record transfer fee was £89 million, which he paid to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in August 2016.

The forward will join United on a free transfer this summer after former Ajax team-mate and defender Lisandro Martínez, Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, Feyenoord full-back Tyrrell Marathia and playmaker Christian Eriksen all joined on freelance. It will be the fifth contract. United have spent over £210m to support new manager Ten Hag in this transfer window, including Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Edinson Cavani and Andreas Pereira. A few players have left.
