I just changed from gas burner to electric radiant or infrared cooktop.
My reasons is due to safety. The gas always burn food and sometimes I forget Something on the fire and burnt totally.

Although I was using electric before we had electricity problem. But now I am back to electric as I bought brand new tempered glass surface cooktop.

But with this New electric cooktop it's safe to say all that problem will be history outside the fact it will be costly to maintain than using a gas, it's has micro computer chip for safety and protection from all of that problem of gas.

Example you can set the timer when cooking and it will auto off on the set time even if you forgets. Overheat protection it also protects even if you leave food on it, It will off when the temperature raise more than the safety recommend that is if you didn't set timer. That means when the food is burning.
Lastly if you forget to off the cooker when there is no light it will not power on by itself unless someone touch the power sensor double times.

The problem now is from the menu it's recommend a thick flat bottom pot for better Efficiency for food to cook faster and minimize electricity usage.


I noticed my aluminum pots doesn't have a flat surface anymore for usage all this while. Even if I buy new ones. After some time they will expand from the bottom. Due to heat expansion. The pot that I need now is a thick layer pot from the bottom that can resist heat expansion. Stylish, fancy handle and glass cover. Is it possible to get the pot? Price shouldn't be that much though.

I have been searching online for this set of pot it seems they are more fake.
