1; Musa Yar'Adua
2; Olusegun Obasanjo
3: Sani Abacha
4; Murtala Muhammed

1: Musa Yar'Adua ended Kidnapping and insecurity in the Niger Delta and this gave Nigeria alot of petrol dollars, he also brought down cost of feul which reduced inflation

2: Olusegun Obasanjo came in when Nigeria was just coming out of so many international sanctions, Nigeria was battling on many front, he traveled around the world to beg for debt relief, and still left Office with good foreign reserves, during military era he built refinery and also had operations feed the nation

3: Gen Sani Abacha... I hate him for betraying MKO and Tinubu on his promise to return power to democracy after the coup

A man who came in after IBB caused so much damage United States had placed embargo on our oil, we had economic sanction flying in from all countries just as Russia today

Since Oil was our main resources and money earner and nobody would buy from Nigeria..

Abacha organised some Foreign Offshore Account around the world, he then arranged some business men accross Nigeria as Oligarchs and front, and the successfully traded oil in the black market and paid into Abacha Offshore Account which Abacha then used to run his government successfully

Sanction didn't stop Nigeria instead local production started, with no rice we had white maize, no CNN we had AIT and NTA, no foriengn cloths we made our own big ugly Coat, we had lolly as our drinks and Kunu or Zobo, no gas or Kerosine we used locally refined Kerosine and charcoal , sawdust, firewood

We made local ak47 variants and pistols and fought ecomog wars and won

Your post should be IN YOUR OWN OPINION

Because I don't think I will ever put babangida in the list

Musa Yar'adua: with his 7 points agenda, he brought armnesty, ended Niger delta war, stabilize, dollar, food and also increased salary

Olusegun Obasanjo: No capping if it was OBJ sambisa Forrest would have been a dead zone since,

Sani Abacha: though a dictator and an much embezzlement he actually did some things that stabilized the country
Sometimes I wish we could have someone like that

Murtala Muhammad

God bless you most especially what you wrote about Sani Abacha it shows that you are a good researcher who never judge with sentiments
Because I wanted to write about Sani Abacha but I decided to pitch tent with you when you expressed my thoughts.
Am going to write something about the Abacha Looth which have become a national anthem which the Enemies of Nigeria use in deceiving Nigerians

Obasanjo should have ruled indefinitely like Putin and Paul kagame. Democracy is overrated. There was no point experimenting with half dead Yarardua and the fear fear Jonathan which lead to the emergence of Buhari

Which Abacha?

He is the worst president Nigeria ever had

Abacha was such a Kleptomaniac that over 24 years after his death the money he stole is still turning up all over the Place

Gowon was Nigeria's best and most successful President and at 31 years he was also the youngest President in Africa at the Time

He got married 3 years after coming to Power

He was the Son of a CMS Pastor from Plateau State and Gowon was raised in Zaria

Abacha operated with sanctions and he did well
I still maintain, Abacha did not steal, all these monies you hear about, where from the black market (just like moh247 said)
He used those money in his offshore accounts to run the government
Nigerians where treated like criminals then we we travel to out

Nigeria must be really rich. Abacha's loot under 7years is bigger than Obasanjo 's total income of 8 years. Isn't that an irony.

A pig will always remain a pig no matter how you try to dress him. It is ironic that Nigerians have been hypnotized to the extent that the citizen defend leaders that oppressed them.

I never expected adult at least that have read about the atrocity and corruption under Abacha and still claim he is one of the best president of Nigeria.

Claiming that Abacha ran the country through black market sales of oil using fronts is the most ridiculous complement

Now you need to answer what was the cause of the sanction against Nigeria?

Was it not Abacha high handedness in that led to the sanction?

Was it not Abacha government that made bunkering an official business in collusion with the security agents up till today?

What about money laundering that has become a mainstay where our common wealth ended up in the foreign land?

Should we talk about state sponsored killings and terrorism during Abacha regime.

Please come off that careless talk, abeg
