2023: List Of States APC May Lose Due To Internal Crises by frndfghtr(m): 4:17am On Sep 05, 2022 |
chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) recently attributed his party's loss in the 2022 governorship election in Osun state to internal crises. If this was true, it means the APC risks losing not less than 20 states in the 2023 general elections. Just like it did in Osun, the ruling APC may lose some states in 2023 due to internal crisis. This, according to a report filed by Vanguard, is because the mentioned 20 states are also battling internal crises ahead of the next general polls. (1) The crises mainly resulted from the "unresolved supremacy battles and fallouts of recent party primaries." It was gathered that aggrieved members have not sheathed their swords despite President Muhammadu Buhari's intervention. While some have dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties, others remain but may work against the party in the next elections like in the Osun election where party faithful were alleged to have worked against APC, El-Rufai's anointed candidate Sani holds strategic meeting with powerful APC chieftains Below is the list of states where APC is embroiled in internal crises, according to the report. Lagos Kano Gombe Kaduna Bauchi Zamfara Kwara Kebbi Ondo Ekiti Ogun Ondo Osun Rivers Cross River Imo Benue Nasarawa Abia Akwa Ibom. Lagos deputy governor, others beaten up in free for all fight at APC secretariat? Truth emerges In Lagos, a recent attempt to resolve the crisis proved abortive after which a report claimed that the state deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, was assaulted in an ensuing free for all fight. The deputy governor, however, debunked the report claiming he and others were beaten up in a free for all fight at the APC secretariat. The report had claimed that the deputy governor and some senior members of the Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were been beaten up by aggrieved political miscreants during a reconciliation meeting at the party’s secretariat in Ogba. In Abia, Senator Adamu, the APC national chairman just inaugurated an eight-member Reconciliation Committee. Adamu expressed optimism that with the inauguration of the committee, there would be peace in APC Abia. Why Lagos APC must be united ahead of 2023, Prince Idris Balogun reveals Meanwhile, a chieftain of the APC and House of Reps aspirant for Alimosho federal constituency of Lagos state, Prince Idris Balogun, has said the unity of the ruling party is important ahead of the 2023 elections. Prince Balogun made this known, as he organised a Sallah party aimed at unifying all the APC members in Alimosho federal constituency. He said the party leadership should reconcile all the aggrieved members, including himself and other aspirants who were not satisfied with the outcome of the primaries. All APC states in south east have been conquered by LP and been taking back from APC, by June next year APC must have been minority |

One hour is a very long time in Nigerian Politics Before you know it, the tables will turn and your worst enemy will become your best friend. Nobody knows what will happen. The only thing you know is what's in your mind I don't know what's in your mind and you don't know what's in mine. To the topic Lagos There is not much votes in Lagos and many don't know. Because those that registered back then always do so at the leisure of their business or during their working hours. But the big problem is on the day of election. There will be lockdown on the day of election and people will not be allowed to move . So it's only few votes that are in Lagos Kano Ehen you are now talking. We all know they have the highest population in the country. And their current governor is APC, if Tinubu is in good terms with the governor, surely he will mobilise his boys to do the magic and vote for him. You can only snatch the ballot box where you are popular. Currently there are four factors in Kano, shekarau, gandollar, kwankwanso and others. Kwankwanso is in nnpp, shekarau just joined pdp, he was welcomed by Atiku recently. Gandollar is in APC. Like you rightly said, there won't be much bulk votes like in 2015, and 2019, for APC this time because, the votes will be shared between those three guys. Except two of them still unite and work today, but we don't see that happen because the three of them are sworn bitter enemies. So like you rightly said there won't be much votes for APC from there Kaduna Aboki guys don't vote for party. They vote for "person". So it all boils down to the candidate that APC is fielding for the next governoship race in Kaduna. Currently everyone is tired of the "short man". He tried in terms of infrastructures but the people are complaining about welfare and security. We know southern Kaduna guys will never vote for his candidate. So it will as usual be a very dicey game like you said. The victor will be determined by the party s internal mechanisms Zamfara Their present gov. Is APC, he defected from pdp in 2021, though they have alot of issues like insecurity and others. His cronies and people like former governor bello matawalle and abdul Aziz yari will determine what will pan out. If they continue to fight against each other at the detriment of the party, then it will be fatal, ; but this however will be designed by how much strong the opposition, the pdp is in the state. Don't forget that there is insecurity in Zamfara, even through if people come out to vote, they will be fearing for their lives Kwara The current gov. Is APC, but their former gov. Bukola is currently giving him headaches and if he doesn't stand on his toes. There will be issues. The kwara central senator oloriegbe is having issues with the gov. And might not get a return ticket from the gov. So the outcome will also be determined by how strong pdp is waxing. But I forecast a thin victory still for APC beacuse of the fact that the APC is still the incumbent. Pdp currently doesn't have the mechanism to overtake presntly yet. Kebbi Bagudu is APC, and like earlier aboki guys don't vote for party, they vote for people. So This ball down to whoever he nominates. But the minister of justice, abubakar malami is aspiring to become gov. So like you rightly said, there is a lot of internal fracas in the APC, but the opposition us not much strong, so I give it to APC there Ondo Akeredolu is having alot of issues like his deputy gov . Who decamped some times ago and a whole lot of other issues like insecurity and so on. He looks calm and smiling but the man is sweating under the skin. I will still give it to the APC here EKITI Their gov fayemi is the chairman of gov.s forum and their gov elect candidate is from apc so I still give it to apc Ogun Like you rightly said former gov. Amosun , and current gov. Abiodun are at logger heads and this will play a big factor on the outcome, if they can reach a compromise and split the spoils, then the problem will be resolved. But if they don't, the opposition will snatch it from them. And the pdp is Strong currently there Osun Yes you are right about Osun, their current gov elect is pdp. But APC will still have some votes still. Don't forget the issue of vote buying. If APC too spends money like them pdp, then it's the fattest pocket that will win. Guys like former gov. Aregbe need to reconcile with JAGABAN because he still a political career ahead of him, he as minister of interior will and can still play a big role in Tinubu s cabinet. But if they continue to fight at the detriment of APC then pdp will continue to cashout Rivers. Almighty Wike is now being romanced by everbody. We all know the part he played for the pdp after 2019 elections, when everyone fled he stood for the party and maintained his ground. So the outcome of who snatches rivers depend on which direction Wike goes. Currently APC is romancing him, and ayu, said he won't resign as pdp chairman, so let's see as things pan out. Like I said earlier one hour is a very long time in politics and your worst enemy can turn to your friend In a minute. But let's still give rivers to pdp, Ameachi too will perform but Wike rules the day Benue Ortom just inaugurated state security by himself after weeping blood in the hand of bandits and Fulani herdsmen. Na kill you go kill them oh, then no vote for APC oh. So here I give it to pdp, but don't forget guys like suswam, and other APC bigwits there. APC too will have some votes Sha, pdp owns the land Nassarawa It was from here and other middle belt regions that bubu got his block votes in 2015 and 2019, and the fg made alot of money from this state in terms of solid minerals. Their gov. Abdullahi Sule is a Buhari boy, so let's give it to apc here. To solve a crime follow the money, the big pocket alhajis rule the day Abia This is the home of the famous NNAMDI KANU, They do sit at home like kilode? If you need a safe trip to heaven, go to their market square and abuse ipob, Biafra or Kanu, an airplane will ferry you to the other side. They don't even want to hear anything APC here. Even Tinubu haven't touched a toe here. When BuBu himself went to SE many of them planned and didn't come out. So this place is a no no for apc And so on and so on Forget peter obi and his Twitter guys, many of them don't have PVC and even if they do, many of them won't come out on the day of elections. The outcome of the next elections is between pdp and APC. That's the truth Peter obi should go and rest. Our next president is between Tinubu and Atiku. That's all As for me I will still give it to the bullion van man. God knows best #ITISWELL! 1 Like |

Under normal circumstances APC should be loosing in the whole 36 states and capital. They failed woefully and should have no business campaigning. They were clueless in the past, presently they are useless and will be more miserable in the future. |
