The 15th edition of the Nigerian music awards, The Headies was slated for September 4 2022 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. This is the first time the award will be held outside of Nigeria.

The program was held in Atlanta, Georgia and many musicians were present, The best recording of the year: “Celebrate Me” – Patoranking, Album of the year: Made In Lagos (Deluxe Edition) – Wizkid, Song of the year: “Essence” – Wizkid Feat. Tems, Best female artiste: Tems, Best male artiste: Burna Boy, Digital artiste of the year: Ayra Starr and Next Rated Category Winner BNXN FKA Buju.
