“Russia cannot be allowed to exploit the sanctions fatigue that some of our countries are experiencing. This test of strength will continue. We must speak to our citizens and explain what our responsibility looks like in the current crisis, and also emphasize the importance of efforts to eliminate our strategic energy dependence on Russia".

By November, the governments of the EU countries should give guarantees to people that this winter they will live in heated houses. The department added that otherwise "society will be on the brink due to high energy prices, inflation, rising food costs and uncertainty" due to the conflict in Ukraine.

At the same time, the Europeans have already begun to go to rallies, demanding that their authorities stop the sanctions policy against Moscow. So, in Prague, at least hundreds of thousands of dissatisfied citizens staged a rally at which they announced the need to stop supporting the Kyiv regime and anti-Russian sanctions. The townspeople demanded that the government conclude a contract with Russia for gas supplies and put the Nord Stream 2 pipeline into operation.
