Remember they were equally successful in the early days of the failed Kherson offensive. Russians have extremely fewer troops in Ukraine. LOL, the Kherson offensive isn’t ‘failed’. They’re going slow by design, to grind the Russian army there.

Ukraine telegraphed the Kherson offensive, for Russia to move lots of troops and equipment to that front and then severed all the bridges and have the roads covered by artillery. Then they used HIMARS to blow up all the major ammo dumps. The only eventual way out for the defending Russian troops is to swim across the river without all their heavy equipment.

You’ll see in a short while. And I will be here to remind you. It’s going to be a tough fight there, but Ukraine will be the ones with the ammo, supplies and medevac capabilities.
