Imagine an oil producing country experiencing fuel scarcity, what a shame.

That's because the same oil producing country won't let the industry refine crude into fuel and sell it at a profit.

To use an analogy, imagine you were selling bananas. You buy them at N5000 a bunch and plan to sell them at N7000 a bunch, but then government tells you to sell them at N500 a bunch to help the poor.

Because you cannot afford to replenish stock and pay for other costs at that price, you stop selling bananas, scarcity results.

By rights, according to the petrol industry, we should be selling fuel at N400 and above. Instead we sell it at N174. Naturally, there would be crisis and issues, because there isn't enough profit being made to pay everyone involved in bringing fuel to you. And the difference between the N400 and N174 is paid as subsidy, which because of rising costs and suchlike....isn't enough most of the time.

PresidObi:
APC are incapable of ruling Nigeria

So also PDP

Labour party will ensure fuel availability with ease.

It only needs a party with a smart candidate to correct the problems.

Sometimes i wonder of you guys ever read or understand anything at all
How is this government's fault
They are indirectly requesting for subsidy removal and you are screaming government

TINUBU HAD THE BRAINS BUT THE FOLLOW IS OLD AND SICK. IN HIS HAY DAY, THAT WAS ABOUT TWO DECADES AGO, NO DOUBT ABOUT THE TRANSFORMATION HE COULD BRING. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THE CLAWS OF NATURE HAS GOT ITS HOLD ON HIM. AT THIS POINT HE SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT RETIREMENT AND ASO ROCK IS DEFINITELY NOT THAT RETIREMENT HOME.

THERE IS NO OTHER ASSESSMENT OR APPRIASAL ON ATIKU APART FROM THAT OF OBASANJO'S, HIS FORMER BOSS, WHICH WAS AN ABYSMAL DEBACLE. GIVE POWER TO ATIKU AND WATCH WHATEVER NATIONAL TREASURY WE HAVE LEFT BECOME BYGONE

OBI HAS SOMETHING TO SHOW FOR HIS EIGHT YEARS. HE HAS SOME IMPRESSIVE TRACK RECORED, HE IS YOUNG, FIT AND HEALTY

APC AND PDP HAVE TRIED THEIR BEST FOR 20 YEARS TO ESTABLISH NIGERIA AS AN EXISTENTIAL MISFORTUNE. "POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD".....THEIR REIGN SAW THE HIGHEST PAID POLITICIANS IN THE WORLD WITH THE POOREST SET OF CITIZENS

ITS HIGHTIME WE TRIED SOMETHING NEW. COME 2023, WE CANNOT AFFORD TO SIT SENILE FAILURES IN POWER. LAME OLD MEN THAT HAVE LOST ALL PHYSICAL VIGOR......

Nothing is working in Nigeria at all. Good Roads, Electricity, Road Transportation, Air Transportation, Sea Transportation, Importation, Food, Jobs, Palliatives, ASSU, Security, Travelling for wherrr... Make Una kukuma divide the country make every region take charge of their own destiny. Because the way I see it, people will start eating other people's food, on top of their stoves, in the next few years if all these continues in Nigeria...

We need restructuring and decentralisation of power

Fake news, they just want to create artificial demands to sell their fuel. Since two months now light has been steady, so less people are buying fuel from the stations so their profits has dropped tremendously. That claim of Nigerians consume 60 million liters of fuel a day na big scam to collect subsidy payments. If there is steady light, the quantity of fuel sold in a day will not be up to half of the 60 million liters they are claiming. The fueling station in my area has been idle for a month now with only random cars coming to buy fuel . People buying with cans have reduced so with black marketers.
