Governor Nyesom Wike has said that votes from Rivers state in 2023 will not be given to any presidential candidate for nothing Wike on Sunday, September 4, in Rivers, said the candidate who wants votes from the state must be ready to give something in return The Rivers governor also told PDP members to get ready for the next decision the state will make on the party Rivers - The governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, September 4, made it clear that the state must get something in return from any presidential candidate who wants its votes in 2023. Governor Wike during the inauguration of a road project in the state said this time, votes will not be for free. He noted that if other states get offers from some politicians after they voted for them, then Rivers should deserve equal treatment in the next general elections.The fiery governor in a shared on Facebook by AIT News said: "Anybody who wants our votes must tell us what is there for us, no be so? "Our vote is no longer for dash, is our vote for dash? Our vote is for you to tell us what you will do for us... "So all of us prepare: a day shall come when we will take a decision on what to do. "Are you ready?"Meanwhile, it was gathered that the PDP had quite a lot to lose during the 2023 general elections if the widening rift between Wike and Atiku Abubakar is not closed. At the moment, some PDP governors who are working with Wike have allegedly agreed to work for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). A source who spoke with Vanguard claimed that the decision to work for Tinubu was part of the deal reached by the PDP governors recently in London. The source claimed that in exchange for their secret support, the governors were alleged to have demanded that their political godsons be allowed to win Senate and House of Representatives seats. 1 Share

Wike we all know have a hold on pdp, but this time election is btw the aggrieved youths of Nigeria and others. I am sure wike is aware that Rivers State youths are also youths, I hope he is not banking on dem wen he is promising to deliver for pdp or APC. E go soon clear from their eyes. The youths are pained, which is naturally in this case, and they have come together to decide for themselves irrespective of ethnicity, so trying to force them to vote in ur candidate cos of wat they will get in return simply means we don't want to do wat is right. |

At least if nobody negotiate with him, he should take the ppls vote to his retirement house after his tenure in 2023. |

What Governor Wike has is just one PVC out of the millions of PVC from Rivers State. What wike is the leader is just PDP. There are other polical parties in the State who will still vote candidate of their choice.Wike should know that not everyone in the state is with him.Many are against him. |
