*Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe (UBOM NIBO) The 2023 All Progressive Congress Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District election has descried the wanton destruction of lives and properties occasioned by erosion in Anambra Central stating that the menace of erosion has become an existential threat as some villagers have abandoned their homes due to the threat of erosion.*



Speaking to newsmen in Abuja
Chief Okelekwe stated that "2023 Anambra Senatorial Election is pivotal as Anambra Central will have an uncommon advantage of aligning with the government at the centre and thus, receive unprecedented attention in matters affecting the zone,




"Erosion poses an existential challenge to our Senatorial Zone, therefore, Eligible voters in Anambra Central cannot afford to play politics of emotion, rather, eligible voters must vote wisely for a departure from the present status quo, Ndi Anambra Central have found in me, a competent, Leader with capacity and integrity needed to deliver on electoral promises as I will hit the ground running and bring an uneven development to our Senatorial Zone".




"As a successful private sector icon who has crossed the globe and has engage with business ventures and Services with top corporations across the world".




Chief Okelekwe revealed his readiness to synergies with Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) WORLD BANK, International Development Association (IDA) African Development Bank (AFDB) United States International Development Agencies (USAID), among others to ensure that erosion and it's threat is checkmated and halted permanently to save lives, properties and means of livelihood.



Chief Okelekwe revealed that he is very passionate about Anambra Central Senatorial Zone which is currently under represented, He hinted that he has the knowledge and contact on how to access the funds that will be used for the control of erosion and development of the Senatorial Zone.





Chief Okelekwe further called on all eligible voters in Anaheim central to prioritise the interests, future and the collective aspiration and destiny of Ndi Anambra Central and Vote for his emergence as the senator that will represent Anambra Central in the 10th Assembly.
