It's not unusual and don't be scared my wife also went tru it. The Gynecologist recommended some tablets and it flowed.
But it made my wife restless alot of times, we tried sex again for baby, I don't know what happened the flow stopped again. She dosnt want to continue d medication anymore. She has resulted to herbal medication which is good with her.

They are three things involved, 1) infections can seize your period 2) the kind of drugs you took before or after sex to prevent been pregnant can also cause it and delay your period, but first of all both of you should go infection test. 3) you might been really pregnant, so pregnant do hid within two or three months before it shows.

it happens sometimes I remember one of my friends experienced this some weeks ago it likely to be an illness more or ulcer like the case of my friend
