The USA did not support the war against Biafra, they were engrossed in the costly Vietnamese war and US President Richard Nixon condemned the genocide against Biafrans. They were largely neutral while Britain was in the driving seat of the war of attrition against Biafrans who suffered 3 million deaths because Britain wanted to keep their Royal Niger Company alias intact. Why should they be a big fan of the late Queen?
