A crypto bear market occurs when there is about a 20% decline in the price of a cryptocurrency over an extended period of time. It is a considerable decline or decrease over a long period. Signs of a crypto bear market? A sharp decline or downward price movement can begin a bear market, where several investors believe prices will keep falling, leading to a downward spiral as they quickly sell off to prevent further losses. Others may include: - Majority of investors are selling. - Supply becomes greater than demand. - Market confidence is at a low. - 20% market drop in price over a period of time, resulting in a cumulative drop of over 50% within a few weeks. - Capitulation Period, i.e., selling at a loss - Negative talk about cryptocurrency, or FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt), - Falling country's GDP or stock market. What should you do during a crypto bear market? Avoid leveraged trading, read and do a lot of crypto research, buy Bitcoin using DCA, make meaningful relationships with crypto enthusiasts and avoid scams at all costs. 2 Likes |
