A Really Sad Experience With Konga: Konga Has Lost It by Ojpeter: 1:48pm On Sep 13, 2022 |
I bought a Tonor tc30 mic with factory defect from Konga. The vendor or seller is willing to replace the item but Konga is neither responding to seller nor I the buyer. It’s weeks. It’s been calls after calls. Customer care representatives keep telling me they are sorry and they would fastrack the resolution of my issue. When the item got to me, the packaging wasn’t in tack. The box was already unboxed in quote. The usb cable was haphazardly kept in the pack as if the product is used. To me, maybe the seller wanted to confirm product worked fine before sending. But putting the item to use got me changing my mind. A 32k mic couldn’t sound any good close a lavelier mic. The audio was so distorted at 50% gain level that even my pc and phone mics did better. I filed a return with demo voice notes from the mic attached to a mail I sent to Konga support. They got me the number of seller who happens to be a levelheaded and straightforward Nigerian willing to get another mic to me in place of the defective one. But that guy has sent as many mails as I have to Konga to get the return process initiated. Konga is not responding to neither of us. They keep telling us they are working on resolving the issue and it’s been two weeks. Normally customers would usually rely on a b to c e-commerce platform to make sure sellers live up to expectations. But the opposite is the case here. Konga has lost it. After this experience, I will only use konga if I’m left with konga being my only option. |
