Congratulatory messages poured out from Catholic faithfuls and all Christendom as the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese His Lordship Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor celebrated his birthday.

In an official statement by his media aide,Comrade Abuchi Onwumelu which read,

Onwumelu further eulogised him for his impact in building and nourishing the faith life of the society at large, "Happy birthday to the charismatic, influential and outspoken Cleric. Happy birthday, my Lord. May Almighty God who brought you thus far continue to shower you with His mercies, long life, sound health, grace and wisdom. Congratulations to the local Ordinary."
