Ahead of the 2023 general election, Nigerian youths, now focused on credibility, integrity, workable and achievable manifestos and trustworthiness of candidates instead of the ritual money bag politicking have organized a well-structured and tailored Presidential debate as elections draw closer.


The cluster of leadership/Social Economic and Empowerment institutions with millions of registered members across Nigeria and Africa, Nigeria Youth Decide/Diamond Youth Transformation Initiative (NYD/DYTI), Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Christian Association of Nigeria Youth Wing(YOWINCAN), National Youths Wing Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria amongst several others who are the pioneering youth organizations of the debate stated that it's aims for organizing its 2nd Edition of the Presidential Debate is to influence the general opinion of Nigerians, especially the youths in making a well-informed decision as to the candidate to vote for in the 2023 presidential election.

The event which is to hold on the 10th of December, 2022 at the Nigeria Award Merit House, Maitama, Abuja with the theme: Road map to effective leadership and prosperity, would be attended by the following candidates as confirmed: The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of PDP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of NNPP, Adewale Adebayo of SDP, Malik Ado of YPP, Yabaji Sani of ADP, Prof Chris Imumolen of Accord Party, Al Mustapha of AA party, Chief Okorie APGA, Dumubi Kachukwu ADC, and Felix Johnson NRM, and the AAC Candidate are to attend the presidential debate.

According to a letter signed by the Director of Media of the Presidential Debate, Emmanuel Daudu, has this to say, "we train leaders of exceptional value that model integrity, competence, accountability in their specialized fields, and organizational skills for both private and public sectors.

"Retrospectively, we hosted the first and one of the Best Nigerian National Presidential Debates in 2019. In attendance were 10 presidential candidates on stage.

"We have hosted many State governorship debates too. Our social project cut across the 36 states in Nigeria", he added.
