Why is wood used to make tables and chair

Mostly for financial reasons. Wood is plentiful, robust, relatively light, and simple to deal with. Therefore, you just need a tiny amount to build a solid table or chair. It is an extremely cost-effective resource since it practically grows on trees. Finally, the tools required to use it are very effective, which considerably reduces the cost of labor. It is quite difficult to produce a table or chair for less money in any other material with the same amount of stiffness.

Another justification is for sentimental reasons. The majority of people used wooden tables and chairs when they were growing up, but it was primarily due to cost considerations at the time because wood was still the least expensive material.
