Good day fam, I newly got married in (April 2022) and my wife is now 2 months pregnant.
I live in my own house of 2 bedroom apartment with another 1 bedroom apartment attached. I am a fresh graduate (have not gone for nysc.) Lost my job weeks to by wedding.

Now the problem is that I have an out standing debts to the tone of 2.3mill. it includes a police bond which is due for payment last month, a couple of due loans from loan apps that are already unlishing all manner of treths,
my in-law gave me 200k during my wedding and she is about to take a title in the village and needs money to run around (she have not asked for it but I can read the handwriting on the wall), and many unpleasant debts adding to the fact that I have no help from any family member as I am the first son, my parents are all retired and are using their pension to train younger ones.

Uncle's are all making sure that no one in the family surpass their kids so have never and not ready to give 1kobo.
it happens that almost all needs their money and some (police and loan app) may take legal actions against me anytime also to avoid my in-law from making unpleasant side talks.

We bearly eat 3 square meal and there haven't been any income since April.
I have nothing doing, and my wife have nothing doing too. Depression pushed me into Yahoo but I am not seeing any light.

I am also very fluent in programing Bitc0in investmeint websites, etc and as a result flooded both Facebook and nairaland with my ads which got by accounts banned.

I have waited on the Lord and have submitted my application letter to several offices even to filling station, gas plants and at a point, I even applied at a bread factory all to no avail.

All I have is my humble self with a bright future and a house at okpanam, asaba Delta State.

Note: I am ready to take any action even if it requires to start from scratch all over again as I am still young.

My house is valued at about 10mill. Should I sell the house, use the proceed to
1, repay the loan, ..........2.3mill
2, rent another apartment,..........500k
3, buy an empty plot and............4mill
4, start a business I can manage?........3mill

Why not collect a loan from the bank and use the house as collateral instead of just selling it like that, u still gonna need a place to sleep u know.

All debt owed settle itself with time....just resort to what ever makes you happy and watch as things unfolds.......

Instead collect a loan from the bank using your house as a collateral, then pay off the pressing debt and use the left over cash for a business that can help you repay back the bank ...

When u tell people outside there, they will say u re victimising someone else for ur own laziness, and the next tin u will hear is that u should double Ur hustle.

Well, I use to shake head weneva I see comment like that, all I know is that everyone will chop breakfast soon or later in one way or the other.

Don't attempt to borrow from the bank unless the money that you borrowed can pay off your debt and there will be a reasonable amount left to invest in a business that you understand very well.

The return from the business should be capable of servicing the loan from bank as well as meet your recurrent needs.

What is the size of the land on which the building is built? Can some part of it be sold without selling the building? How much can you realise from this? Can it solve your problem?

On the spiritual side... what was the source of money that you used to build the house because you mentioned Yahoo? Proverbs 20:17 (KJV) "bread of deceit is sweet to a man but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel"

Finally if the source of the money is illegal, sell off the house, pay off your debt and be a free man. Repent and start a clean life all over.

OP Smartford you don't need to sell your house if you're just going to invest it in a business you're not experienced in. You need to reorganize your life first.

Get some advise from a competent lawyer on what to do about the police bond. Also, get legal advice on what to do about the loan sharks.

Loan sharks are somewhat illegal in many countries possibly including Nigeria, though they still operate. You should get advise from a lawyer on how to best handle the situation

If you can't afford a lawyer, visit the Legal Aid Council office in your state, they're a government organization run with tax payers money to offer free legal services to Nigerians who can't afford those. They have offices in every state in Nigeria. https://legalaidcouncil.gov.ng/

Communicate with your sister-in-law about your inability to pay her back the money at this time. This is important so that she can begin to make alternative arrangements in time. A lot of Nigerians take trust building for granted. You give them something on trust then they ghost you or start lying to you, then burn bridges and end up stranded because there’s nobody they can run to in time of need. Initiate a conversation and let her know you can't pay her money now and possibly in the next one year, but let her know it’s top priority for you, and ask for her understanding. Figure it out with her

Finally, look for a job. If you can't afford to live in your house, rent it out if it's in a good location, and move back in with your parents or to a cheaper apartment. If you can't feed yourself, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to swallow your pride temporarily. Lastly, train yourself in some skill to increase your chances of financial success.
