I've seen this happen more often in relationships, and no one is even trying to do anything about it.

Amanda (In a dead-end relationship with marriage not in sight)

Bukola (Girl A's bestie)

Bukola: Posts Amanda's pictures on her status, wishing her a happy birthday

Guy A: Sees the status from Bukola and likes what he sees...

Guy A: Chats up Bukola

Guy A: That your friend is really beautiful. Is she single?

Bukola: No she's not.

Guy A: But she's not wearing a ring na. I dey find wife o and she fits what I'm looking for.

Bukola: Amanda is not single, period. Please continue searching.

Guy A: shrugs...

I think we need to start defining what we mean when someone is single or not single. Many women are just wasting away all in the name of relationships that have no defined objective.
