2023: H.E. Peter Obi,LP Presidential Candidate is already loosing over 2m Votes before 2023 Presidential election.

Going by the 2019 PVC's COLLECTED, Labour Presidential candidate H.E. Peter Obi is already loosing over 2 million votes before 2023 Presidential election going by the available statistics with 2019 PVC's COLLECTED in each Geopolitical zones.

If H.E Peter Obi wins all the 5 states in the South East, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins South West with 6 States and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar wins North East with 6 states.

Now with the number of states in each geopolitical zone which did not favour South East, you can see that the Labour party candiate is already loosing before the main general election in 2023, to close this gap LP candidate needs to win the 2 major political parties with over 200,000 votes in 10 out of the remaining 19 states with no serious presidential candidates plus Abuja to recover the over 2 million votes lost before the General election.

I know there is 2022 INEC Register/PVC's not fully DISTRIBUTED for the up coming 2023 General election but the difference will not have much impact.

I share the sentiment of this writer. Democratic politics is about numbers and the majority takes the trophy. Nigeria is still deeply involved in tribal politics. 2023 won’t change much.

Elections are won based on a candidate’s ability to garner adequate votes as enshrined in the constitution. The Nigerian constitution didn’t make provision for simple majority as a path to winning Nigerian presidency. The winning candidates needs at least 25percent of about 24 states. In addition to getting majority of the votes. Obi doesn’t have that capacity yet. Just not yet.

May the will of the people prevail.
