The camp of Governor Nyesom Wike has officially pulled out of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign. Wike camp withdraws from Atiku's campaign insists Ayu must go.

The faction made this known after a long meeting which started at 7am pm last night and ended around 2am this morning.

The meeting was held at the private residence of the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike in the State Capital.

Members insist not to work in any capacity in the Party's campaign except on the grounds that, the National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu resign for a southern Candidate.

I don't blame Wike. It is obviously clear from his insistence that Ayu helped Atiku to emerge as the presidential candidate. Also, Ayu was appointed in the first place because it was believed that the President should emerge from the south. Atiku and Ayu have been jumping from one political party to the other while Wike has worked to ensure that the party stands strong against the ruling party. If you don't know, according to Wike, he studied political science after studying law. So that man is the game master. Moreover, Atiku promised him that Ayu must go. Atiku should undermine Wike to his own peril.

Is Ayu not from the Middle belt anymore, where is the southern Middle belt collaboration ? This people from the south think they are smart,when you need something you regard the so called middle-belt as northerner but when you are crying and complaining you look for middle-belt as not part of the north to boost your ego. If you say north central is middle-belt and not north why are they insisting Ayu who is from north central/ middle-belt should resign?
