Throwback Record Of The Week: Tuface Idibia – Grass 2 Grace (2006) Tuface Idibia is without a doubt, one of the most respected musicians in Nigeria. His peers, fans, and music journalists across Africa have praised his outstanding body of work, one of which is his sophomore album – Grass To Grace. Released in 2006, the album boasted of a formidable track-list, which was led by the smash hit “4 Instance”, and was followed-up by bangers like “No Shaking”, “True Love”, and “Ocho”. Another noteworthy song off the Grass 2 Grace album is “See Me So”, in which Tuface addresses several issues regarding the Plantashun Boiz split. Considered as a subtle diss track, the singer was taking subliminal shots at former band member Faze. Who of course later released a response of his own. All the same, Grass 2 Grace was the hottest album of its time, and it was definitely worth the money spent. And while his first album, Face 2 Face served as the defining moment of his career, Grass 2 Grace is definitely the album that cemented Tuface's position as a Nigerian music legend. Big ups to Tuface Idibia for his contributions to the Nigerian music industry! Written by Amechi Okoli About The Author Amechi Okoli is an entertainment writer, author, and voiceover artiste.
