Top government officials flaunting pics of their wards graduating from foreign universities while the youths of this country they lied to that they care about are at home and can't school is the biggest modern day equivalent of the middle finger.

This cartoon aptly describes the situation on ground. It’s unfortunate tho and it’s really unfortunate to find oneself under this kind of situation. That’s why I never took the Nigerian federal school system serious. I had always known it to be shiity. Government officials knows this and that is why they send their wards to Ivy League universities.. How do you expect them to do something when they don’t even believe in the rotten system they created. Work hard so your kids won’t face this ASUU shit.

AND YOU THINK ASUU ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT NIGERIAN STUDENTS AND NIGERIA'S EDUCATION? ASUU IS FIGHTING FOR WHAT THEY CAN AS WELL BURY INSIDE THEIR POCKET. INFACT ASUU IS ENVIOUS OF NIGERIA'S POLITICIANS WHO HAVE MERE GCE RESULTS AND ARE CONTROLLING MILLIONS,BILLIONS AND TRILLIONS WHILE THEY, AS PROFESSORS ARE STILL STRUGGLING WITH THOUSANDS AS TAKE HOME.

This is a valid point. I think that is still the government's fault. If the country is properly ruled and the system is properly funded this wouldn't be happening. Its sad

How about we find a way to hold our leaders accountable and also making sure to get the best hands into leadership positions by not being swayed by cash gifts and empty promises during campaigns?

What you are saying is impossible. We live in a country where the larger populace are ignorant and poor.
