A Question For The Nigerian Women by 195(f): 8:27pm On Aug 13, 2011
I have been thinking - why do Nigerian ladies within ages 18-26 have yellow eyes

is it their promiscious nature, or too much EBA, garri and salad or its the sun

Just wondering

- No offence cos the last 20 Nigerian women i have seen either live, on facebook or on TV all had yellow eyes

I was thinking it has to do with the yellow colouring of EBA which is the favourite food of Nigerian women but i could be wrong

take a look at Godmother here - she has yellow eyes - is it the food or the gene's

someone please enligthen me

190 you are funny. grin I dnt c yellow.
Food colour has no direct effect on eye or skin colour.
Yellowing of the skin or eyes is mostly as a result of jaundice and there are several underlying factors.
In that age group you mentioned I can only think of Anaemia or Cirrhosis which I highly doubt cz it takes many years of excessive alcohol abuse to cause liver damage.
Just assume its Anaemia due to menstruation/poor eating habits cz tht age is key or you are seeing things.

Okay lets just assume its Anaemia cz menstruation also causes anaemia FYI. and that age is key.

Ok if its all these diseases you mentioned, then does that mean 90% of these NIGERIAN WOMEN are suffering from Anaemia or Cirrhosis
cos every where i look and see - they all seem to have yellow eyes

The other day i saw one in the train - she was broadcasting Yoruba  her eyes where like the color of liquid peak milk - and i was left wondering

Re: A Question For The Nigerian Women by rose75(f): 10:08pm On Aug 13, 2011
They like eating EBA to be strong enough to resist your wahalas, and their eyes are always yellow as a result of constant tears you make them shed.
Hope u are ok now, aproko tongue

OK since you are determined to know
sexkillz:

There are Two types of Eba! White and Yellow!

If the yellow in Eba is nutrients or supplements then my guess is, if taken in excess it could result in yellowing of the eyes just the same way vitamin A does.
Smoking is another cause but ur analysis of 'ALL' women makes me assume that the yellow nutrient could be the cause.

still funny though
Re: A Question For The Nigerian Women by Nobody: 10:24pm On Aug 13, 2011

^^ LOL if only I knew what Eba is. I thought it was a local nigerian brew or is it?? You are very funny. grin

Sexkillz.you guys are narrowing it down to Eba.So its elimination we are doing here.
If you consume Vitamin A in excess your skin and eyes are likely to change colour.Confirm with any Doc.
Whatever the yellow in Eba is,supplement or nutrient 'I thought it could have the same effect'.
But am laughing cz 190 is exagerrating.I am yet to see a yellow gal.
