Indonesia briefs India on G20 Summit preparations in Bali

India is next in line to assume the G20 presidency.

The G20 Summit in 2023 will be held in Delhi on September 9-10.

India will assume the presidency of the G20 for a year from this December, and during the course of its presidency 200 meetings would be hosted in the run up to the Summit in September 2023.

India is part of the G20 Troika (current, previous and incoming G20 presidencies), which includes Indonesia and Italy. This is the first time the troika has three developing countries.

As G20 president, India will be inviting Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain and UAE as guest countries, and the International Solar Alliance, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure and Asian Development Bank as guest international organisations.
