[/b] Oba Eweka was long seen as hard of hearing and unable to speak his father oranmiyan gave him enchanted seeds known as "Omo ayo" to play with, saying that playing with it will make him talk. The little Eweka played with the seeds with his friends at Egor, his mom's old neighborhood. Oranmiyan Renamed it to ile ibinu (land of anger/quarrel) before it was corrupted by Portuguese to Benin. His unfamiliar style of the board didn't go down well with the Chiefs, and they sent operators to keep an eye on him. This made Oranmiyan proclaim that lone a child of the dirt could adapt to the demeanor of the Igodomigodo individuals. He called the land Ile - Ibinu, signifying "Place where there is Vexation". And he left Ile-Ibinu (later Ibini, and tainted to "Benin" by the Portuguese)[quote author=Maynman post=117064890]Right.
