Though she always responds well and correctly when engaged. I've asked her and she told me she doesn't know when that happens and it's unintentional.

I, on my part have tried talking to my Dad to take her to a Mental Health Expert, my Dad seems to believe it is spiritual attack instead.
Please, I need Medical practitioners in the house to help tell me what she's probably suffering from so I can Confidently convince my Dad.

Self talk can be helpful, and maybe it's a sign of inadequate mental stimulation.

I talk to myself too sometimes, and it helps me reflect or examine myself, but in her case its also an emergent trait so they are worried, although it might not be a serious problem since it could as you say help her to think and express herself.

In that case its just a compensatory need, although if she had people to talk to, and who would listen to her, it may become obsolete. If they could get her to open up more and be more free to talk maybe it would help

If she is hearing voices in her head
That is a sure sign of Possession by earthbound spirits.
If she is not hearing voices then you can refer her to mental clinic

But if she is hearing voices that tell her to do certain things. Then no amount of medical science will solve it...assuming she hears voices what's the remedy to it? Thank you

I have been possessed many times by both good spirits and earthbound spirits. So i know the difference b/w the good ones and dark ones.
And i know how to make the dark ones run away from me ( well there are some stubborn ones that take more time to leave)
The most important thing is "does she hear voices in her head?"

In as much as talking to oneself isn't something to be worried about cos I do too, Too much of it is something you should be worried about... The underlying causes could be depression or bipolar issue

Did you notice any new changes in her habit, I.e taking substances

How old is she?

That's the name of a movie where are seemingly normal, healthy girl started loosing it. Right before everyone's eyes this girl was becoming mad.
Her parents took her to professionals but they couldn't find what was wrong with her. They tested for drugs but she wasn't taking drugs.
It wasn't until a doctor that came visiting the doctor in charge of her looked into the matter. He discovered that the cause of her madness was that her immune system was fighting her brain. Her immune system was eating up her brain.
She was later cured and became normal again.

This movie is based on a true life story.


I've actually seen two people in real life that has similar problem. But these ones, their immune system is fighting their body not their brain.
One of the person died two years ago.

As already popularly suggested, take her to psychiatric hospital. Could have been due to many things; schizophrenia, tendencies, and the likes. But please rule out spiritual stuffs for now. Standard hospital please.

They will place her on drugs she will take till she lives. Which will complicate the issues more.
She needs counseling, don’t allow her take any drugs.
