A Senior member of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State who was a former commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Mustapha Barkindo Aliyu (Kaura Adamawa) has denied an online report that he belongs and was appointed coordinator of the Bindow support group.

The denial came from his Assistant, Abubakar Abubakar who is also the State Youth Leader of the APC signed a statement on behalf of Barkindo and posted it on a verified WhatsApp Group Known as "Adamawa APC Roundtable" on Thursday evening while reacting on a Press Release issued by one Nuruddeen Kama.


TG News had earlier published an accredited the story to Nuruddeen Kama as the Publicity Secretary of the group that reads "2023-Adamawa-politicians-forms-new-support-group-for-windows-political-set-goals".

Confirming his statement, Abubakar on Whatsapp group stressed that "Tom Garba go and look for another Coordinator this one kam bai san da wani Magana Support Group nan ba".

He clarified that the former commissioner is never aware of an existing group that he belongs to and coordinates the affairs in supporting Bindow.

When contacted on phone, Abubakar Abubakar (Habu Kaura) said that "my principal is not aware of the development and not affiliated with the said political support group for Bindow"

He also confirmed to us Mrs. Gloria Makason's name was mentioned as the women leader of the group and that her name was used in the illusion because she was not contacted.

He said the supposed women leader is distancing herself from the group because she is a party official of APC.
