END EFCC protests have erupted in different parts of Delta State.

Focus Naija can report that the protests took center stage in Ughelli, Warri and environs on Tuesday, 4th October, 2022.

Protesters in their numbers bemoaned incessant raids carried out by operatives of the commission, accusing them of harassment and extortion.

Notably, an ADC House of Representatives candidate for Ethiope Federal Constituency, Prince Ukuanovwe Godstime decried the raids thus;

May I express a serious concern over the incessant and misplaced raid by members of the Economic and financial crime commission EFCC in Delta and environ recently

At a democratic transition time such as this were the EFCC should concentrate it's energy and strength in curbing our electoral system from economic crime's
And the recovery of stolen fund's by government personnel within the last three years
It is worrisome that with such huge task officials of the EFCC are on rampage in Delta arresting and harassing young Deltans

I strongly believe that at a time like this the EFCC,the government of Nigeria and all it's agent's should investigate the poverty of young Nigerians and proffer possible lasting solutions and not the other way round

For a more prosperous Nigeria the tacts and talents of young Nigerians should be tapped into and not clipping their wing's and tagging the very few successful one's criminals
