They say pray for your leaders. This is wise to enable them make good decisions that will favour the nation and in turn favour U and I.
I am praying that GEJ should drop his quest for fixed term(whether he want in or not) Be it for good or for bad, JONNA, DROP IT!!!


Firstly, in the short run its a distraction to the Nation to check the government its campaign promisesand our democracy , it will make this administration not to focus on basic challenges like PHCN(NEPA), SECURITY, UNEMPLOYMENT, INFRASTRUCTURES etc.

Secondly, in the long run it could lead to dictatorship or Coup as in South America nations. France has long jettison their single tenure while Mexico are struggling with it. We don't need this now.

For the United States, it is interesting to record that for more than 208 times ,  there had been proposed amendments to introduce a single tenure presidency. On each occasion, the bill died prematurely. About three American Presidents, who backed such proposals failed miserably.
