You're too young to understand what she meant by "order while you pay".

She was hungry, she needed food not your money hence she doesn't want you to feel she's scamming you.

I'll stop responding to you son. It's so obvious you can't comprehend what the phrase "Beggers can't be choosers" Means.

Why i will help her?
1.I love to help those who are in need.
2.if this is not in nigeria?.

Why i won't?
1.Beggars can't be chosers which na ORDER food?
2.It might be a scam this is 9ja.
3.African and juju are like 5 and 6,she might be operating on juju;any person she collects money from, their source of wealth might dry
So, God is not real but African JuJu is real

Purge yourself of this mentality. She needed food and you failed to help feed a hungry person when you're in the position to help. End of.

On my way towards approaching the market, a young girl in her mid 20s walked up to me and started requesting for Money that she hasn't eaten since morning. Of course I asked her where she was coming (normally e no concern me because I no Send) the girl then replied and said "she was coming from a program and that she hasn't eaten that she can make an order while I pay for it". I was shocked!! You wan order based on say na your papa wan pay bills?

It's like an everyday experience for me now. You will see young girls every night approach you for either Tfair OR transport money claiming they are coming back from a program.

Recently, they now walk with their mothers, the women quite friendly will approach u, speak igbo and smile then you won't know when you drop 500 OR 1k.

I used to give them before but recently I stopped.

Though yesterday I gave a young boy hawking plantain 1k because he approached me and said he was hungry. I could relate, I have been there before so I just gave him 1k and he was very thankful.

For me, going forward those people I don't give them shishi again. Especially if agbado wins, every man will face his or her problem

Buying food wasn't the issue but the order part.

Which one is she can order while I pay for it? As per what? That was a total turn off and entitlement mentality.

I guess she felt her doesn't believe she truly needed to eat, so she is suggesting she order the food and he pays directly instead of giving her the money.

Seen someone do this before.

Calm down, its a strategy for you to believe she was actually hungry and intend to use whatever you give her for food...

Good thing that God has blessed you so much that anything order is high end to you cheesy

By order, it could mean the nearest mama put, rice, beans, pomo, satchet water, all for 600 and he pays directly to the seller, not uber foods or Prixair foods. grin

Youre not getting where he is coming from...She should have just said that he should please her with any amount he can....because what if she starts ordering above his budget do you get then if I say no I'll now look like one wicked person...I'll prefer to even just give you 1k to buy whatever you want

She was trying to let you know she's not after the money but food. There's nothing bad in that. There's no need for you to form strong guy or whatever. You really need to understand how life works.

There's so much sense in this, i've also thought about this.

bro #200/300 food is okay to give if you have.naija hard and boys and girls are also broke, since she said it's food you should have gave her than whatever attitude you showed, try to read between the lines when one is hungry and when one is billing in a deceitful way.. coming up here to post makes no sense at all... think about it

i have met boys, guys, gals, young and old on the road coming to me for food. one even told me that he's willing to come to my place to eat a stranger for that matter o but i had to dash him the little for me because I don't want him to come to my place...

How old you? I asked because I don't know how the actions of a street urchin, probably a drug addict, equate to that of Nigerian girls. You should be interrogating her sanity not Nigerian girls.

This fighting energy you deploy into an encounter with a street urchin questions your own character. You are in her league and may have probably parted with 2k in cash because the internet payment for other takes time and you couldn't stand her being hungry for any longer.

You probably took her home even and she's probably still in your house when you ran here to brag, albeit lies.

For my native language, e get proverb wey say when you wash hoe for any child, him go use make farm for you. Society don give them the mentality say say everything wey want na on top a man head e suppose dey. Men sef no dey help matters by saying if you no dey spend bastard money on a woman, you no love her. Toh, Na that mindset don come back to haunt us in today's nigerian society. If you no use sense pick wife or GF, my brother na brokage go constantly be your portion
