Flooding is a national issue...and besides the inactions of the federal gov't over the years, the causative effects are international as well, so just how TF does your daft brain figure out that, in a unitary set-up such as we have in Nigeria, that south-east gov'ts should be held responsible for flooding in Anambra state? Not to mention the fact that flooding is occuring and occurred in the past in other regions of the country as well.....regions you infer have had 'wonderful and competent governors' since 1999!

This area should have been reserved for farming especially if it's a yearly occurrence.

At least that's what I noticed in Delta State. The places that get flooded when the rains are much are reserved for farming and the lands are usually very fertile.
