Glitcher:
It doesn't add up, before they took the child home did they not notice an eye,ear and nose was missing?
emotions can make you lose your sense of observation sometimes. The family won't have time to imagine such thing would have happened when they have all been swallowed in tears and sorrow by the bad news of losing a loved one. Don't blame the family, blame humans who have become heartless all because of some paper called money.

very faulty write up, so they didn't see the condition of the dead baby while it was handed over to them before taking it home in the first place? how do you know they're actually nurses? Quacks everywhere, no professional Nurse would do that knowing full well that you have your practicing licence at stake, these are quacks, stop tagging everyone nurses, auxiliaries are not nurses.

Lies. The hospital probably insisted on their balance payment before releasing the dead baby. As a punishment, they probably went to remove those organs themselves. Why didn't they bury the fetus for close to 24hrs? Were they going to do burial ceremony or what? They know Nigerians will quickly rush to blame the hospital. No wonder UK registered 200 Nigerian doctors in just one month. Very soon, everyone will run away. Make una dey frustrate all your professionals out.

Stop saying thrash. After 24hrs, did they want to dress the fetus that now made them to examine the fetus? Have you seen a dead fetus before to know how it looks? The hospital most likely insisted on balance payment before releasing them. They came back devilishly to punish them. These are the reasons hospitals insist on deposits and you people will be making mouth like fools that Nigerian doctors like money in Emergencies.

These people can’t be Registered Nurses. Auxiliary Nurses in private hospitals should stop spoiling the image of Nursing profession and those that worked hard to gain their license just like me. But if they are Registered Nurses, they should be arrested and their licenses seized.

Exactly they are spoiling our name. How can people who are trying to Japa are removing organs, to do what exactly with it? Or don't they think the parents will return to ask questions? So I doubt they are nurses.

1. The baby was brought to the hospital on Sunday and was confirmed dead and the dead body of the child was release to parents same day.
2. They returned back deceased child to the hospital on Monday with body part missing.

Were they not cross examining the deceased before they departed from the hospital on that same Sunday? I feel something is missing from the story
Another angle, that's a good one

They're quick to call them nurses. Not all people on whites in hospitals are nurses. Even if they do nurses duties. They are quacks. No registered nurse would do thag6.
They are not quacks. They are now regularly employed in UK as healthcare assistants. I mean the so called auxiliary nurses from Nigeria. I know at least three that has migrated to UK as hospital support worker with NHS. They are part of the team. When you get out of the country, you will be humbled. Everyone is important. You don't need to call anyone quack. We call them auxiliary nurses in Nigeria, they call them support worker abroad. The govt is the one that has failed to regulate the sector so that no one go above his or her limit. Many of the so-called registered nurses do what is beyond them in Nigeria making them quacks too...in your language.

Rather, I am the one that will dispense the drug for you. We have so many online ignoramus in that yeye country. Fools like you that never bothered to listen to the other side of the story. You have never seen a dead fetus in your life not to talk of a probably macerated baby for over 24hrs and they now brought it claiming the eyes and the noses were gorged out and you ran with it without reasonable line of questioning. The money you were supposed to use to go to school you used it to buy android and started typing rubbish early in the morning.

My intuition tells me it’s the parents and not the nurse. How won’t a real mother look pitifully at the body of her dead child and wonder why it couldn’t survive atm?

They may have been too distraught about the loss of their child to do that. Pray you don't witness it. It happened to a family I know.

You are a very good observer.. while other where making different comments, you spotted the discrepancies in the story.. your child was giving to you back for burial and you did not notice an obvious harvest done on the body.. you had to reach home and return with a mutilated child.. then the parent need be investigated

Bolded is exactly what happened in a case I witnessed. Time to bury the baby and someone raised the alarm that the baby was killed. It's easy for you to sit here and be forming the Jagaban of questions until you experience it (I pray you don't).

Sit where? You are telling lies. We are talking of a one day old baby that never lived here. This is not a child. This is a baby that died at the point of birth. I practiced for fifteen years as a doctor before leaving Nigeria, I have never seen anyone that ever ever dressed a day old baby ( dead fetus) They commonly put then inside polythene bag and bury them. Some people even throw them away. Hospitals don't even need to hide to steal eyes if it is for one day old baby. Many parents beg you that they don't know what to do with it that you should help them to dispose it, we always refused. Stop all these bandwagon crucifixion of professionals working hard to save. I CAN TELL YOU FOR FREE....THE HOSPITAL INSISTED ON BALANCE PAYMENT BEFORE DISCHARGE. They came back to punish them. This is an old trick to punish hospital. The police know but they will extort them before releasing them.

I'm only responding because you said you worked in the health sector here. You, sir, have it all wrong. Yes, the instances you cited are correct, but CULTURES vary. Some families will never let go of it and will bury it in a family plot. You just don't get it so only your reality is real to you. Seen cultures where they conduct an elaborate burial for a dead pet lizard?

Anyway, I hope them police don't have a fixed mindset on the matter and do a thorough investigation so that only the guilty are punished.

save your curses bro, start by tackling the woman selling a pack of indomitable for 120 when the actual carton price is 3500. Split that into 40 pieces and tell me her gain, or the one selling satchet water 20 box per one. When a set ten bags is sold for 1500, calculate her gain, then tell me who is wicked, or the local government chairman that hid your palliative from the federal government.
Those nurses came from a home, from a family, from a community, from a state. Their parents failed in training them, their community failed in training them, they failed in learning their morals.

“The hospital discharged them and the parents took the child away, surprisingly today (Monday), the parents brought the baby accusing the hospital of removing the baby’s eyes, nose and ear.

So when they took the child away they did not see the missing nose, eyes and ear?

The nurses look innocent. The parents of the baby must have gave wrong hands the dead child on Sunday after they left the hospital.

Why will they wait till Monday before they observed? Ignorance
