Delta, Abia, and 15 other states' governorship elections may be tougher in the 2023 poll as the outgoing governors will battle to secure winning for their preferred candidates.

In most of these states, the outgoing governors rubbed shoulders their godfathers to ensure that their preferred candidates emerge as flagbearers.
