Barr Juliet Isi Ikhayere, an ADC House of Representatives candidate for AMAC & Bwari Federal Constituency, has posted a picture of her campaign banner on her Twitter handle with Peter Obi featuring as her preferred presidential candidate.

Recall that ADC had expelled their presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, Dumebi Kachikwu, from the party.

But the question that is begging for answer is, “why the choice of Peter Obi as her adopted presidential candidate?”

Could it be that Peter Obi is the most popular candidate among Abuja residents as against what some naysayers have tried to make us believe?

If you argue that Peter Obi is not the most popular in Abuja - that either of Atiku or Tinubu is - then are you saying that a candidate who is interested in winning election would adopt an unpopular candidate in his or her area?

It’s just like a candidate in Kano adopting Sowore as presidential candidate instead Kwankwaso or a candidate in Anambra adopting Tinubu instead of Peter Obi.

How would the naysayers explain this?

Peter Obi will win in states that have more of educated and rich population that understand the implication of having a corrupt, dying President as leader.
