Whether you build in silence or build in open.
It doesn't really matter.

But understand this, if your idea comes ahead of it's time - it will FAIL. If your idea comes long before the market is prepared for it, people won't just even know what to do with your product.

Google+ tops the chart for one of the biggest failures in the world of software. At the time it was functional, Google+ was about the most complete and sophisticated social network.

Trust Google, these guys perfected Audio Rooms years before Clubhouse came into existence. Plus a whole lot of great ideas they threw into that app. But it failed.
It failed because the world of social media users were just not ready for such features.

Everything has a time and season. Your business should follow that time and season. As you disrupt, disrupt within the proper time and season, otherwise your disruption will fizzle out.

Most importantly... Sell the benefits of your product. Don't sell the product itself. Don't sell your brand.
People buy things for the benefits not the features.

No matter how fancy your ideas are, if people can't find an immediate use that will make them clamour for it.
You're on a loooooonnnng thing.

Better find a different idea, or move to a different market (in another country).
