I and my cousin went to purchase a bag of rice last month. When we got there we were told rice is 36,000.

We went to different places, some said 34k, 37k, 36k. We went home.

Today, we decided to buy. We went out with 50k just in case of necessity. When we got there the woman said it is now 45k!

We went to another shop, one said 42k. Least we saw was 40k.

The worst part is that this flooding result has not come yet.

By next year, we will be buying rice from nothing less than 65k

I remember around 2011-2013 when my dad would buy a bag of rice and leave it to us at home. We will even be sharing it among our relatives that come around.

But now, we can't do that again because of the hike in price.. Even a half, is two to three times more than the price of a full bag ten years ago.

Na just to buy two or three paint rubber keep for house.
