COLLETT FOUNDATION HOSTS TEN SCHOOLS FROM NASARAWA AND ABUJA IN AN ICT MASTERCLASS TO CELEBRATE NIGERIA AT 62!

On Saturday the 1st of October 2022 and the Independence Day for Nigeria, COLLETT Foundation organized an ICT Masterclass. Ten select schools within Abuja and Mararaba, their teachers/students showed up to learn the basics of ICT. This was our way of giving back to the country and community around us.

The first set of schools arrived at around 9:00AM and then other schools began to arrive. At around 10:00AM, the program was in full session with two classes holding. One for the students, and the other for their teachers and mentors.

The students were first engaged in fun activities and then shown different computer hacks and apps to solve problems easy. While the teachers were given a lecture with full presentation on the importance of incorporating ICT into their school’s curriculum.

The program was a huge success with the massive turn out of the schools and our partners who also reached out, attended the program and had very important talks with the children. This was an accomplishment for us at COLLETT. Seeing as we impacted the lives of those young ones.
