Relations between the United States and Europe have become "out of sync" amid problems in the energy sector, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview with CBS.

According to him, there is a "big gap" between the EU and the US due to the fact that Europeans buy oil and gas from the Americans, but prices for consumers in the US and Europe differ: for consumers in the EU they are six times higher than for Americans. This affects "the purchasing power and competitiveness" of the two societies, Macron stressed.

“I want us to be allies, I want us to be friends, I want us to be partners. I want to cooperate with the US, but I don't want to be dependent," Macron said.

rare violent protests erupted in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia, taking over the streets and government headquarters.

Such violent demonstrations took place after it became known to the Mongolian population that around 12.9 Billion Dollars in Coal was stolen from public reserves by corrupt agents of the Mongolian Government and illegally sold to Mainland China behind the scenes.

Palestine seeks Nigerian support in Palestine-Israel conflict

Palestinian Ambassador to Nigeria, Abdullah Abu Shawesh, remarked to journalists that Nigeria should play a larger role in the Palestine-Israel conflict given it's importance in world affairs and friendly relations with both Palestine and Israel.

Abu Shawesh emphasized the huge size of Nigeria's population and economy, and its firm historical support for the Palestinian cause.

“I will communicate with different levels of people of Nigeria to make sure that they support the move not only from the political level but other institutions such as human rights institutions and NGOs to make sure that they collaborate with their counterparts in Palestine," said the diplomat.

19 abducted from mosque in Katsina state

On December 4th in Maigamji village, Katsina, gunmen invaded a mosque and began shooting worshipers, killing about a dozen, before capturing 19 to hold for ransom.

Nigerian security forces intercepted the bandits, freeing 6 of the captives. The remaining 13 are likely being held in the large Rugu forest, a common criminal hideout in the south of the state.

Since the attack, the kidnappers have specifically requested that the ransom be paid in the new naira notes, replacing the old as of early 2023.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green demands an audit of the funds that the United States allocates to Ukraine:

"The American people have a right to know what every cent is spent on, because it was the Americans who worked to earn that money."

She has previously criticized Washington for helping Kyiv, emphasizing that the US should stop allowing Zelensky to demand money and weapons while he tries to drag them into World War III:

Western countries cannot fulfill their own sanctions and block two-thirds of the reserves of the Russian Central Bank. Because no one knows where they are.

After the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, the G7 countries decided to block Russia's gold and foreign exchange reserves located abroad, which were estimated at $300 billion. But in the end, less than a third of this amount was arrested, and the rest was simply not found. This is reported by the Atlantic Council analytical center, working with NATO.

Now officials are trying to find the remaining reserves or the Russian institution that owns them. At the same time, analysts say, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation does not make the task easier - the last time the regulator published a report on the structure of its reserves in January and has not updated it since.

US Swindled Of Covid Relief Loans By Chinese Hackers – Report

Chengdu-based hackers allegedly stole at least $20 million of US’ Covid benefits, including business loans as well as unemployment insurance, NBC reports, citing the Secret Service.

Officials claim the scheme originated with the Chinese APT41 group.

Citing anonymous officials, the report says the revelation might be “the tip of the iceberg” when it comes to foreign cybercriminal actors being involved in pandemic fraud.

The Boeing concern rolled out the last model 747 aircraft from the assembly shop. It completes more than half a century of production run of a giant aircraft.

The trade turnover between Russia and China for the incomplete 2022 grew by about a third (32%) and amounted to a record $172.406 billion.

According to the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation supplied goods to China worth $105.072 billion, which is 47.5% more than last year.

Vietnam and Nigeria sign Memorandum of Understanding on Defense Cooperation

The memorandum of understanding was signed following a meeting between Vice Presidents of Nigeria and Vietnam Yemi Osinbajo and Vye Tho An Xuan at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

Despite the fact that officially it is about defense, most of the content of the memorandum concerns economic cooperation between the two countries.

Nigeria will share its experience in fintech and Vietnam will help to industrialize cashew nut processing in Nigeria, just to name a few

Earlier today, December 7, 2022, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), via its social medias, announced that its "Judea and Samaria Division" troops, alongside Shin Bet and MGB forces, had conducted raids in the villages of Kibia, Avod and Samua, and in the city of Hebron, in the Occupied West Bank.

According to the statement, such raids aimed to arrest wanted Palestinian militants. During the operation, a chekpoint of IDF was attacked Nabi Salah and Israeli troops also came fire in Nablus, however, officially, no IDF soldier was hurt

At least 5 palestinians were arrested during such raids.
