The incoming administration must declare a state of emergency on touting, thuggery and violent extortion perpetrated by motorpark urchins popularly known as 'Agberoes'.

These agberoes are one of the vital reason why transport fares and cost of transportation of food products are on the high side. They have become a menace to the common man and must now be tackled headlong not just as an economic issue but a security issue.

A committee comprising of national security officers and economic planners should be set up. The sponsors of Agberoes some of whom are politicians and state commissioners should be put on a radar with their positions, assets and property threatened if they do not desist.

The young men who are involved in Agberoism should be given an ultimatum to leave the parks and b/stops within 2 weeks and assimilated into youth scheme that will see them empowered economically regardless of their literacy status.

After 2 weeks, plain cloth officers with concealed weapons should parade and pick out the stubborn ones (wey God don punish) and sentence them to 10 years of forceful labor in our Agric farms.

Do these continuously for 1 year and see if the cost of transportation and food won't crash significantly.
