And if you could reason, you'd know that no God worth worshipping would tell you not to eat the fruits of trees of knowledge of good and evil. And if any God did tell you you'd die if you ate it and then you ate it and did not die, you'd ask yourself why you are being lied to and who is lying to you and if it's God or not.
