I doubt the credibility of this story.

This story no follow. So for 9 months despite not hearing from their daughter, they never made any efforts to contact the husband and inquire on her whereabouts? They weren't worried enough to travel down to their daughter's matrimonial home to see for themselves how their daughter was doing? They couldn't even contact his family to find out how their daughter was doing assuming the son-in-law wasn't picking their calls?

If the story is true her family were careless and it seems it's the husband that killed her. That careless attitude is telling.

Courtesy? Someone's daughter? Why won't anyone get emotional about their daughter? If your daughter died and her husband waited till 9 months later to tell you her father about it, will you laugh it off as if it's nothing?
