Good day! So I’m wondering if people still dump long healthy and lasting relationships for genotype sagas.

Cos I’m not about to lose a very healthy and long lasting 10yrs relationship for nothing.

Do people still dump themselves for this blood Genotype issues, or there are alternatives, this 2022 it’s been long I heard close relatives or friends having issues like that, I’m probably not exposed enough tho.

We both As in genetype, and I’m working on finding a better way to make this work, she’s all I’ve got fr and I’m already in my early 30s.

I’m not a fan of too many child, you can be a great parent even with adoption, but I still want a child with her exactly. She’s has to look like her self lol

Pls what’s your take, can I have this girl to myself or is still the shout of quit?

Marriage is not all about kids. If you want kids with her, there are medical procedures that will ensure your kids are AA or AS. But it will cost money. Don't bring an SS child into this world. It's not fair on the child.

The best relationships are the ones whose genotypes do not match.

You don't want to give birth to a sickler female who will inturn grow and have difficulties in giving birth.

Knowing your Genotype can be as easy as ordering for the test and having a nurse come and take your sample and send to lab. And you will also get the result sent to you on your phone and have access to anytime and anywhere you need it. You can also book an appointment and consult with your phone, manage your health adequately and get easy access to all forms of health care services on Outpost health.
You can download the Outpost App on play store and app store, and also use via web by inputting Outpost health in the search bar.

Go to Luth, Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
There are many options.
PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS is surprisingly affordable. Not up to 500k.

Any other hospital?

Well I will advice you guys to quits or else you don't wants to have kids.because it too risky. I have a boss who has two kids and they are both ss he spent all what he have to save the kids life.from one crisis to another it's a bad experience don't let love blind fold u.

I heard that an AS can marry AS but their is a vaccine that must be administered during pregnancy and another one at the very hour of delivery .

But very expensive

Well if I have I can give it up, just that once lol and I have 45% moving prospects to achieve anything to bring us together.

When we thinking about making babies, we should also thinking about making money for the babies.

Tnks tho, learnt the other option is cheaper and safer, I mean checking the foetus before growing, and who knows our first hit could be a twin with AA it’s an option too my father had three twin, my uncles did too plus I shoot a lot.

You don't read really. You don't..

Click on the link above and read. It's been scientifically proven that the Christmas Bush plant is very potent in the treatment of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). The good thing is the plant can be locally sourced. I am in possession of a published scientific journal on its efficacy in the treatment of SCD but it may be too technical for you to comprehend.

Most people here on Naira land are not informed, hence the kinds of comments strewed over this thread.
Wonderful, but my question is since it can treat ss efficiently why can't it be use in treating people with As genotype since that S is unhealthy cell among all?

I am just sorry for you.

If you live in Nigeria and you are not wealthy enough to afford ivf or bone marrow transplant, for the sake of your unborn children and to avoid future stress and suffering, please give yourself brain.

You don't want to be responsible for the pain your kids may go through if they happen to be SS.

You've said it all that you can even go for adoption. Men like you are rare. I hope the lady in question reciprocate this. Back to the fact, AS + AS =AA , AS and ss, and the probability is 1, this means that out of every 2 pregnancies ,one will always be a sickler. Sicklers can survive well these days depending on the medical care given. The question now is "how buoyant are you to carter for a stickler in this present economy. Follow your heart man, God can still make a way for you even in the desert. Be strong.

If you know what some of my "He/She All I've Got For Real" Same AS or even SS Genotype Parents are going through right now after birthing kids, you wouldn't have made this post.

That's is when you know that even your true love fades in months. Even that your "All I've Got For Real Spouse" will change over night and regret your so called marriage.

Don't ask me how I know, I treat their kids so I know.

Though we treat some of them and their SS kids get healed and genotype changed to either AS or AA but it's is a VERY VERY LONG AND EXPENSIVE PROCESS. Please emphasis on the " VERY AND LONG AND EXPENSIVE".

If you are not a person with PATIENCE as an natural inbuilt attribute, dont even try the treatment.

people MUST dump themselves for this blood Genotype issues,

too many child, BLA BLA adoption BLA BLA BLA, THE REAL TRUTH IS I'M INFATUATED with HAVING A CHLD THAT LOOKS exactly like her self

Pls I DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT your take, HOW can I have this girl to myself EVEN IF IT KILLS MY ENTIRE GENERATION or DON'T ME BOTHER WITH the shout of quit

Dear op NATURE CHEATER, There are two options instead quiting ur beloved situationship
1: remove ur womb/testicles, adopt an innocent child you subconciously hate.

2:Become a heartless blood ritualist torturing ur own kids with lifetime of sickle cell and early death or you deliberately kill/terminate them blindly experimenting to get an AA foetus -sometimes never.

lrman:

Exactly...and now why should the op go through such stress when he can simply walk away from the relationship and avoid all these unnecessary stress he wants to put himself into ??

I will agreed with you that, taking a walk will be the best advice no matter how strong the love or bond with the other person is.

When both partners start seeing the pains they will put the kids through and the associated guilt that it was avoidable, they will regret their actions and that love or bond they now share will not stand the test of time.

I have a friend that have a sickler, in their case they knew because they were privileged to have gone for the test at the early stage of their courtship, like less than three months.

But they got the wrong advise then, they were told that, if they gave birth to four kids, it will be the fourth one that will be a sickler and they were okay with just one or two kids and felt that the coast is clear.

Their first kid is HbSS and they regret every single day, why they didn’t do further research and unplug the relationship then.

Today, the information is everywhere for people to make their individual choices. Some believe that with Prayers, miracles could happen as much as I don’t know much about those prayers & miracle, but I still know that during COVID Pastors and Miracle workers closed down their house of prayers until the Medical community were able to reduce COVID infections to bearable levels and gave us vaccines & drugs to combat them.

But, I will say that, it will take a kind of level of wickedness and selfishness for two people to bring kids into this world when they know that there is the chance that, those kids will suffer for the rest of their lives and they know it would have been avoidable 100% by walking away, all in the name of ‘Love’ for someone who is not related to you, while exhibiting total lack of Love and empathy towards your own unborn kids who are biologically related to you.

We can excuse our parents, because the information we’re not readily available then.

Look for a genuine hospital for antenatal like LUTH.
There are investigations done to ascertain if the baby will be a sickler or not.

Maybe some time, some day, go to the hospital for all those good samarittan visits and what you'll see will change your mind about proceeding with your marriage to your AS girlfriend. When the child suffers everyone suffers. It'll test the bonds of your marriage, it'll test your faith in your creator. But having said all theses, there's a way around it. You can do what is called a gene selection. That I'd they'll fertilise plenty of your girlfriend's eggs with your sperms and when they're fertilised and ready to become a baby, they'll test them to give you the ones with the superior genes and free of the SS gene.
If you love yourself too much and you want to go ahead, here's the solution
Want to know more about this? Head over to your playstore and download the Outpost Health platform app and speak to a reproductive specialist. Don't sleep on this opportunity o
