pls for the lawyers or anybody who can help!!

Private schools are fond of exploiting their workers, pls I really want to know if its really in the law that anybody working in any private organisation is too give his employer a one month notice before leaving the job for a better offer. Most private school or private organisation tend to stand on that not to pay u that month salary but they can sack you without giving u a month notice!!! can u imagine!!!

Most will not give you appointment letter and they expect you to give them a month notice before leaving their job!!!

Pls I just want to know if I will be doing the right thing charging the school to court!!!

It's an institution with no statutory flavour, and due to the absence of statutory flavour, they treat their works as servants and they masters.

It's simple: don't give them any notice, collect your salary and leave....the same way they can sack you anytime and there will be nothing you can really do about it.

So sorry for wat u are passing through
However before taking a job, do research
If people tell u they have d bad thing of not paying or paying on time in a school, run
Also work for govt schools like Lagos. They never owe..also rivers, Ogun State and kano

They are always looking for teachers, just reach out to their State ministry of education

Your own is one month. My friend's own is three months.

What job will you get that will allow you three months to settle with your current employer?

Dude got a better job in September and bounced without notice, he gave them back the one month salary they paid him and is doing alright in his current place of work.
