Musa Abubakar, now in police custardy for kidnapping that is not true.
All family members, friends, and community care now is “if he is still alive”,
Police won’t allow his people to see him.

Call it travesty of justice or another unprofessional method synonymous to the Nigerian police force and you won’t be wrong, as innocent citizen Musa Abubakar become the next unlucky victim of their barbaric unprofessional method of crime investigation.
And contrary to the popularly perceived notion that the southern people of Nigeria are the only target of Nigerian police and other security outfits high handedness and unprofessional approach, an innocent Musa Abubakar, a Nigerian man from Ngorore, Adamawa State, now in their nest has punctured that notion, as their crooked method is uniform to all Nigerians, tribe, religion, or morality not considered. And trust as always, Musa’s life will never remain the same.
According to the tale by almost everyone we spoke to/about Musa in Ngorore, Musa is not capable, or known, or even thought to be an inter- state kidnapper by any inclination. This so because, Musa doesn’t look it, he is poor, he has never been known or seen not to be in Ngoroge, his home town for even a day in the last, over ten years. He is poor, he is not educated, he is not ostentatious, he doesn’t even have and can’t afford to be ostentatious, he has two wives, he serves his boss, as one of the many boys of his master, a big time cattle dealer. His master, who craved anonymous, is a very upright, law abiding, discipline, truthful bridge builder and unity promoter, who want the police to do their work and treat Musa’s case according to how conventional and international best practice required. Until Musa’s worrisome arrest by the men of the Nigerian police, Akuzu, Anambra state, who came all the way from Anambra state to Ngorore Police Division on the investigation of a traced telephone number they claimed was used to called and threatened family of kidnapped victim not to call and demand for the released of their held love one anymore, the people of Ngorore never had any reason to spent day and night, across religious line praying for the quick resolution of Musa’s unfortunate mix up.
Musa’s master was at his post at the cattle market when his phone rang. He was directed to report to the Ngorore police division, Adamawa State. On his arrival there, he was asked if he knows a certain Musa, whose description resembles his boy, who was as at that moment in Genye, another local government area’s cattle market to buy cattle for him, (the master), and to navigate how the transportation system which they also facilitate would meet their objective of delivering cattle to their customers, who are scattered across every state of the federation.

By the time Musa found his way to the Ngorore police division, he was simply greeted with a mask man, whom after his unveiling, he simply pointed to a flabbergasted, tired, confused, and lost Musa.
“Shi ne wana’n”, the hooded man pointed.

According to the eye witness report, Musa was handcuffed immediately, and ferried to the dreaded Akuzo police division, Anambra state. The report claimed that the police on kidnapping investigation from Anambra have traced a phone number, which belongs to one Uba, who held from Mayobelwa, another local government area still in Adamawa state.
As confusing as the entire episode of this unfortunate event is, that is the lot of an innocent citizen, as he languished in police custody under extreme brutality for a crime he knows nothing about.
It was alleged by the police that Musa once used Uba’s phone number and spoke in pidgin English, to whoever he (Uba) didn’t know until the police showed up for him. They picked him up, tortured him, and he agreed that Musa once used his phone once upon a time, but what they discussed, he didn’t know.

Musa does not hear even a word of pidgin or English, may be very few like “gudu moni”, yes, or no. H has never left his boss’ operational posts for the last fourteen years to anywhere outside Adamawa or Taraba state, since his elder brother, who is the Imam of a village in Ngorore suggested and handed him over to his master to mentor and to have him doing something, Musa has earned the respect, trust and confidence of his boss. Musa survives only from wages or reward he gets from his boss’ business, he has married two wives in the fourteen years of getting income as Islam tradition and tenets allows. Since Musa was picked up, no relations of his has been allowed to have access to him. After rounds of tortures and his folks denied access to him, they have kept on paying money to the police, as requested so that Musa can be taken to the hospital for some medical care, as his body do so need it so badly, after his drilling to get him speak the truth, accept, or whatsoever.

The police feel that Musa is a criminal and may know more than he is accepting that he knows. His people are calling on a thorough investigation under the law to unravel the mystery, even as they called for voice analysis, and other forensic investigation that can retrieved and analyze every call from the said phone. They fear that Musa might have been killed, as the police would only take money from his folks on his behalf, but has never allowed them access since he was wheeled away from his state to Anambra.
They are calling on the general public, the police IG, human right groups, and all concern Nigerians and men of goodwill across the world to intervene, so that this inhumane precedent would not continue.

This is the kind of generalisation that no one wants to be caught in its web. Just imagine you being associated with what you didn't do just because one or two people from your tribe have been caught doing that! =117946900]Op, how did you know that musa is innocent?
