What are US soldiers doing in Nigeria in the first place?
Are they on UN peacekeeping mission?
Are we fighting civil or any other conventional war?

We don't have US combat soldiers in Nigeria for such operation, except the ones at US Embassy.

Maybe a handful of US military advisers are in Nigeria, so I don't believe such story.
