It hasn't occured to many of us christians why Jesus Christ the son of God and the king of kings and Lord's of Lords called Earthly kings beasts!!! And their kingdoms were kingdom of the beast.
Let us see from the scriptures why!!!!
1) HONORABLE MEN WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING OF GOD AND WISDOM ARE LIKE BEASTS.
Psalms 49:20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
This is the reason why and as we go further it would become clearer to you.
What does animals do,an animal has no knowledge of God the creator!!!
An animal only exists to eat,drink and sleep or play the prey.
An animal hunts other animals and some that are carnivores or omnivores eat other animals.
An animal only lives to eat and eat and eat and has no knowledge that God exists.
So it is for most Earthly Kings who see themselves as God and that should be worshipped as God because they want their kingdoms to remain forever and think no thought of their end and have no knowledge of the truth nor do they worship God at all.
We heard about the first tof such Earthly kings called Nimrod!!!!
He was a mighty hunter before the lord.
This doesn't mean he was working for God,he was actually hunting God's people like a beast hunting it's prey.
Nimrod devoured a lot of little children by smashing their head on a rock.
That is what Nimrod was doing ,sacrificing God's given children to Satan!!!!
Where is the Nimrod today who failed to acknowledge God?
He was beheaded by ESAU according to the book of jasher .
Psalms 49:12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Just as beasts perish and do not remain forever so are earthly Kings who don't recognize God's existence and are as beasts !!!
Ecclesiastes 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
Just as beasts devours and devours until they die and are also devoured by the worm so is man that is not saved.
His life is vain and he would perish away.
Nebuchadnezzar,an Earthly king had a vision from God and he got the interpretation from God's prophet Daniel!!!
Instead of glorifying God,he behaved like a beast and now wanted to use God's given glory and power and honour to exalt himself by creating a worldwide Idolatry!!!
He made sure that he created a one world religion after creating a one world economy and he now wanted everyone to bow down to the Image of the beast he had made ie an image of himself as seen in the dream.
Nebuchadnezzar misconstrued God given divine light and wanted to glorify himself .
The watchers cut him down and drove him from the estate of men to eat grass like the beast because he failed to understand nor acknowledge God and worship the only true God.
Nebuchadnezzar exalted culture and tourism than the Creator GOD!!!
Daniel 4:23 And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;
Daniel 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
Daniel 4:32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
Daniel 5:21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
So earthly kings that fail to acknowledge God are like beasts.
We see how it is pertinent that christians should never give honour to any earthly king that God hasn't honkired or chosen nor should They back or support them.at all!!!
Don't !!! Because they are like beasts.
Nebuchadnezzar had to eat grass like a beasts for 7 years before he came back to acknowledge God as his creator!!!!
We see that after being punished by God for defying God's authority his reasoning and understanding returned to him and he gave God the glory this time around.

Daniel 4:36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
Now let us continue to see Jesus Christ encounter with another king .
Jesus Christ was teaching in a certain city and the people came to warn him to leave because an Earthly king Herod sought to kill him.
Luke 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
See what Jesus Christ called King Herod!!!!
JESUS CHRIST CALLED HEROD A FOX!!!!
Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
it is the same attitude we as christians should have for all governments of the world ,world rulers and leaders who do not know Jesus Christ nor acknowledge that God exists !!!.
These rulers and leaders have all being gathered together into Satan's cult and they are worshipping and serving Satan because they couldn't refuse Satan's offer of giving them the whole world in exchange for their souls and for them worshipping Satan!!!!
We see also the kingdoms of the world described as beasts in Daniels vision!!!
When we come back into modern time,almost all the countries of the world except Isreal have their insignia,emblems,coat of arms or government symbols as beasts !!!!
This is just to show that the rulers of this world are all beasts!!!!
Psalms 73:22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
Daniel 4:16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
It is glaring that most of the world rulers,leaders are heartless.
They don't have compassions or human feelings because they have given their soul to the devil .It would be foolish for any christian to delve into politics without God's direction or instruction and not become dirty .
Let's see the characteristics of beasts of men.
Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
They speak evil of divine things they have no understanding of.
World rulers and leaders are against The Kingdom of God and against Jeuss Christ!!
Psalms 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
They want to destroy God's heritage and people.
It goes a long way and the spirit of the Beast is now in the world.
The Beast himself ,one of the member of the satanic trinity is in the world as the world gets ready for his kingdom.
One thing christians should take note of is the Keys of the kingdom given to the church and all true believers to bind and to loose!!!

That doesn't mean his believers are animals,for the believer has been conformed to the Image of Christ.
Jesus christ only said that because we are still in this world and the children of the world are always wiser in their own eyes than the children of light!!!
It doesn't mean christians are serpents.
God is not the author of confusion
Jesus Christ was referring to the character wise of a believer in this world!!!!
In this world and not for heaven.
