October started off wet and it was quite cool, but only in the first three days of the month. After that it got warmer and warmer. The southwest current came and then just stayed with us. We’ve had more or less the same weather conditions for three weeks now. You’re starting to wonder if this will be the basic structure for the coming winter.

The past winters had actually all been too warm. Last winter even made it into the top 10 warmest winters since 1881.
