Man and the Salvation Equation

Some people have an opinion that man has no part in the salvation equation; leaning on such unbiblical views as 'salvation by election', 'once saved always saved', etc. But an honest review of the scriptures shows that man has a role to play!

Yes, the power to save and forgive sin rests wholly in the hands of God, BUT man must be "willing to accept" the gift of redemption for him to be saved! This acceptance must be shown by his submission to the will of God and in drawing nearer to God through obedience!
